Fredrika Sprengle has two lifelong loves–writing and teaching. With Well Told Tales, she happily combines the two as an online writing instructor, writing coach, and instructional designer, to help others use their unique talents and voice to create captivating stories. She’s studied the craft of writing extensively attending classes and workshops and working one on one with authors. Those studies have included the Creative Writing Program at the University of Houston, where she studied with Don Barthleme, Vivian Gornick, Phillip Lopate and others., Hedgebrook master classes and workshops, and classes at Hugo House. She has recently completed a memoir, The Accusation, and is pursuing publication of it and of her novel, Hannah and Faith.
Fredrika has over twenty-five years of experience teaching from preschool to college level writing. She also designs curriculum for colleges, non-profits, and technical corporations. With her former business partner, Lynette Skinner, she designed, developed, and facilitated Hedgebrook’s first online offering–a master class with award winning novelist Elizabeth George.
